Does it fix or submit my files?

No. It returns a selected-rule review report. You decide any edits and carry out the native platform workflow.

Do I need MCP or a paid AI account for the CLI?

No. CLI checks are independent of MCP and AI. Optional agent/MCP use requires your own compatible host and separate dependencies.

DOWNLOAD TYPE A local Python CLI with companion Agent Skill instructions and an optional local MCP adapter. Python 3.11+, trusted pip, setuptools>=68 and wheel. Core checks use the standard library. Provide one UTF-8 CSV in a private local directory.

REAL LOCAL DEMO The invented CSV repeats one nonblank email identifier. The report marks row 3 as DUPLICATE_EMAIL without printing the email. The measured problem sample returned REVIEW; the separate correct sample returned PASS_CHECKED_RULES. Synthetic fixtures were run through the exact installed 0.1.4 buyer package on Windows/Python 3.12.14. These are CLI results, not a hosted-agent compatibility test.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE The current 0.1.4 ZIP, local CLI source, Agent Skill instructions, optional MCP adapter, usage guide and packaged examples where supplied. One-time current download; no subscription is needed by the CLI.

LIMITS 15,000,000 bytes and 100,000 data rows. At most 256 columns, 65,536 header characters and 1,000,000 characters per data record. Blank email values are allowed; only nonblank duplicates are flagged. Not checked: Actual marketing consent, legal compliance, inbox existence, all Shopify fields or final import acceptance.

PRIVACY AND WORKFLOW The checker processes selected local files and prints JSON. It does not edit, merge, upload or import them and does not sign in to your platform. The report contains narrow technical facts and issue codes, not raw feed, manuscript or contact values.

ALTERNATIVES Shopify's built-in customer import is free. This paid download offers an optional offline subset check and a structured receipt, not a superior full-platform validator.

Use the destination platform's native workflow after correcting or reviewing findings. A local PASS is not platform approval. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.
