About this skill
What it does
- Configures UFW to deny all inbound by default and open only the ports your services actually need, with rate-limited SSH.
- Installs fail2ban with an aggressive SSH jail: 3 retries, 3600 second ban, 600 second window.
- Hardens SSH: no root login, key-only authentication, port 2222, MaxAuthTries 3, no X11 forwarding.
- Creates dedicated non-root service users and systemd units with restart on crash and journald logging.

Known limitations
Debian and Raspberry Pi OS specific. It hardens the host, not your application code. Changing the SSH port and disabling password login can lock you out if you apply it without a working key, so read the rollback section first.
