About this skill
The problem
Manually tracking LinkedIn engagement involves jumping between analytics tabs and spreadsheets, making it difficult to correlate content patterns with growth. Extracting raw data for custom reporting or automated interactions requires navigating LinkedIn's complex API and URN formats.
What it does
- Retrieves granular post metrics including impressions, unique reach, reshares, and engagement rates via Publora MCP.
- Aggregates account-level statistics for total follower growth and daily performance trends.
- Executes social actions such as reacting to posts with specific sentiment types (Insightful, Appreciative, etc.) or posting comments.
- Provides a REST API fallback for environments where MCP servers are not supported.
Frameworks & tools
Publora MCP server, LinkedIn OAuth, REST API, Claude Desktop.
Why this beats prompting it yourself
Standard LLMs cannot access private LinkedIn analytics data or post reactions on your behalf. This skill bridges the gap by providing authenticated access to your professional graph and performance data without manually exporting CSVs.
Use cases
- Generate weekly performance reports comparing engagement rates across multiple posts.
- Automate social engagement by programmatically reacting to and commenting on specific URNs.
- Track daily follower growth and unique member reach for campaign audits.
- Identify high-performing content patterns using raw impression and reshare data.
Known limitations
LinkedIn analytics data may have a 24-hour delay. Comments are strictly limited to 1,250 characters. Requires a Publora account and API key for authentication.
