Time, Scheduling & Process Lifecycle
Repair lifecycle failures across monotonic time, wall-clock boundaries, scheduler wakeups, thread-pool capacity, child-process reaping, shutdown, and orphan cleanup. This bundle separates elapsed-time logic from calendar time while making scheduled and spawned work terminate cleanly. Use it when clock changes, missed signals, blocked workers, zombie processes, or shutdown ordering create intermittent production failures.
Works with every agent that reads SKILL.md — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, OpenClaw, and more.

What's included
8 skillsRepair wall-clock misuse in elapsed durations, deadlines, retry delays, local TTLs, leases, and latency metrics while preserving real UTC timestamps.
Repair zombie children, kill-without-wait paths, double wait races, orphaned descendants, blocked subprocess pipes, and shutdown hangs.
Repair lost wakeups in condition variables, worker queues, shutdown gates, wait/notify loops, and hand-built events.
Repair thread-pool starvation from nested waits, callback affinity, fan-out, or shutdown competition without adding capacity.
Repair date, time zone, daylight-saving, scheduling, and timestamp bugs in existing applications.
Repair apps that lose jobs, events, or writes when containers restart, deployments roll, or processes receive termination signals.
Safely detect, verify, quarantine, and clean up orphaned cloud resources after failed provisioning, deletions, or database drift.

Repair Monotonic Clock Bugs
Example session with this skill installed
Our Go service measures request latency with time.Now(), stores start.UnixMilli(), then later subtracts it from another wall-clock UnixMilli value. The same helper calculates an in-process timeout deadline. In a fake-clock test, moving wall time backward by 90 seconds produces negative latency and extends the deadline. Repair locally while preserving all current timeout values and persisted audit timestamps. Do not change the machine clock or NTP configuration.
- Read your context and instructions
- Compiled the repair monotonic clock
Clock-domain bug found. Wall Unix timestamps are used for elapsed latency and in-process deadlines, so a backward clock step produces negative duration and extends the timeout. The repair uses monotonic elapsed/deadline primitives while preserving UTC audit timestamps and all existing duration values.
How to install
Works the same in every agent - Claude, Cursor, Codex, Copilot and 20+ more.
- 1
Download the ZIP
Free skills download straight away. Paid skills unlock right after purchase.
- 2
Unzip into your skills folder
Every agent reads skills from one folder on your machine. Drop the unzipped folder in there.
- 3
Ask your agent to use it
Restart the agent if it was already running. It picks the skill up automatically - no config needed.
