Service Discovery & Endpoint Failover
Keep clients connected as service addresses, network families, upstream generations, and regional endpoints change. This bundle combines dual-stack racing, DNS freshness, timeout budgets, circuit-breaker policy, connection pooling, stale-leader protection, and resilient architecture review. Use it when deploys or failovers leave clients pinned to obsolete endpoints or unable to recover safely.
Works with every agent that reads SKILL.md — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, OpenClaw, and more.

What's included
8 skillsRepair Happy Eyeballs races that publish stale winners, leak losing sockets, or misreport dual-stack connection failures.
Repair ignored DNS TTLs, startup-only resolution, stale endpoint reuse, retry-to-same-address loops, discovery refresh stampedes, and DNS/pool confusion.
Align end-to-end request deadlines, retries, cancellation, database work, and side-effect ownership so server work stops when its budget is gone.
Repair duplicate breaker ownership, state drift, half-open probe storms, retry amplification, reset races, and failure-classification mismatches.
Repair leaked or long-held connections, per-request client pools, fan-out saturation, retry amplification, and cleanup gaps without guessing pool sizes.
Repair distributed systems where an old leader keeps writing after failover, causing duplicate jobs, conflicting state, or split-brain effects.
Design highly available systems with redundancy, failover, and fault tolerance.
Evaluate how reliable your system really is. This skill analyzes your architecture and generates a reliability score with insights and improvement suggestion...

Repair Happy Eyeballs Race Bugs
Example session with this skill installed
Our Go HTTP client uses a custom Happy Eyeballs dialer. IPv6 starts first and IPv4 starts after the configured delay. When both connects complete at the same barrier, both goroutines can send a socket to the result channel; the second socket leaks, and during cancellation the cleanup path occasionally closes the actual winner. Repair with a fake resolver, fake conns, barriers, and a fake clock. Preserve address order, delay, timeout, TLS, pool, and retry settings; do not dial the network.
- Read your context and instructions
- Compiled the repair happy eyeballs
Dual-stack race found. IPv6 and IPv4 can both complete before the shared promise is marked, and the late callback can replace the selected socket while leaving the other open. The repair makes winner election generation-aware and atomic, closes every loser exactly once, preserves attempt errors, and validates simultaneous success, cancellation, timeout, and all-failure paths with fake sockets.
How to install
Works the same in every agent - Claude, Cursor, Codex, Copilot and 20+ more.
- 1
Download the ZIP
Free skills download straight away. Paid skills unlock right after purchase.
- 2
Unzip into your skills folder
Every agent reads skills from one folder on your machine. Drop the unzipped folder in there.
- 3
Ask your agent to use it
Restart the agent if it was already running. It picks the skill up automatically - no config needed.
